Join us in beautiful Pemberton British Columbia for 5 unforgettable days of kayak instruction.
Basing ourselves in the quaint organic farming area of the Pemberton Meadows, students will have the option to either pitch their own tent or stay in boutique little cabins for their week of paddling. Our basecamp is an ideal location to learn to kayak in comfort with an outdoor covered kitchen, group fire pit, bathroom facilities, and a private pond to practice your skills. With the Lillooet River literally steps away and plenty of other rivers within a twenty minute drive we have all sorts of options to work with throughout your 5 days of progression.
The week will be full of pond sessions, dry land classes, evening chats, and of course plenty of time on the river. We have the luxury on this course to cover all of the whitewater essentials in one go. Eddy turns, ferries, rolling, basic swiftwater rescue, boat outfitting, gear chats, and much more are all on the week’s schedule.
After each day of class we’ll head back to the Green Water Resort to relax with delicious food, a gorgeous sunset, and drinks around a fire. Be ready for a full week of paddling, relaxation, and progression towards becoming a proficient and confident independent kayaker.
